Scotty Dogs Lounge & Grill, a new restaurant specializing in a variety of pit meats and seafood, is set to open its doors to the public in York County. Located at 2254 Industrial Highway, this exciting new eatery will occupy the former Big Jim’s Seafood House and is slated to open on Saturday, March 9, 2025.
Owned and operated by Travis Bathurst, who founded Baltimore Style Pit Beef and Seafood in 2021, Scotty Dogs Lounge & Grill marks the next chapter in Bathurst’s growing culinary venture. Bathurst, who has operated a popular market stand at the Markets at Hanover and a food truck serving the Hanover area, is bringing his expertise in smoked meats and seafood to a permanent brick-and-mortar location.
The restaurant, named in honor of Bathurst’s late father, Scotty, will feature a welcoming sit-down dining area, a lounge for guests to unwind, and a seafood market space. The new location will continue Bathurst’s commitment to providing high-quality, flavorful dishes, with a focus on smoked meats and fresh seafood.
Scotty Dogs Lounge & Grill will open with the following hours of operation:
- Tuesday – Thursday: 3 p.m. – 10 p.m.
- Friday – Saturday: 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.
- Sunday: 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
These hours are subject to change during the first month of operations as the restaurant settles into its new routine.
